This painting, part of a larger body of work was inspired by the work of Amy Sillman and her recently published book, Faux Pas. I took up the challenge to step outside my creative comfort zone and re-develop my compositional language. I  built forms from feelings, emotions, and everyday thoughts, exploring the boundaries of art-making and teaching myself to trust the journey and process.
