This painting, part of a larger body of work was inspired by the work of Wassily Kandinsky, and explores methods of layering opaque and transparent geometric forms through gestural brushstrokes, bold colors, and experimental paint applications. My intention was to stimulate a playful curiosity, drawing the viewer back to discover new moments within each composition.
